Sir Adrian Shinwell joined DA Group in June 2002. He is senior and managing partner at Kerr Barrie law firm, a role he has held since 1991. Sir Adrian specialises in commercial law, advising companies and organisations in relation to strategic and contractual issues.

Sir Adrian is a Deputy Lord Lieutenant for the county of Renfrewshire. He is also acting chairman of the Justice of the Peace Advisory Committee in East Renfrewshire and a director of St Leonards School Company in St Andrews. He has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators since 1990 and was accredited as a mediator by the Law Society of Scotland in 1994
